Terms of Service
The agreement that governs your use of Windy.
Last updated: June 3, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Windy, including the website at https://windylogic.ai, the Windy web app, APIs, MCP endpoints, billing flows, and related services.
Windy is operated by LEKHAPP LLC (“LEKHAPP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). “Windy” refers to the Windy product and services.
By creating an account, accessing Windy, using the service, or clicking to accept these Terms, you agree to these Terms. If you use Windy on behalf of a company, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and “you” includes that entity.
1. What Windy is
Windy is a design-and-plan platform for AI-assisted software development. It helps developers and teams create and maintain software design documents, requirements, architecture notes, diagrams, plans, tasks, and related project documentation that humans and coding agents can read and write through project-scoped MCP endpoints.
Windy is not a substitute for professional engineering judgment, code review, testing, security review, or legal/compliance review.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.
Windy may support password login, passwordless login, OTP login, Google login, Apple login, and other authentication methods.
You must notify us promptly at info@windylogic.ai if you believe your account, credentials, MCP endpoint URL, or MCP token has been compromised.
3. Organizations, projects, roles, and access
Windy uses organizations and projects to organize work. Organizations own projects and subscriptions. Users may have organization or project roles that control access.
You are responsible for managing your organization, projects, members, invitations, roles, and access settings. Actions taken by users, agents, or tools with access to your organization, project, account, or MCP endpoint are your responsibility.
4. MCP endpoints and connected agents
Windy allows you to create project-scoped MCP endpoints that coding agents and tools can use to access project documentation. Endpoints may be authenticated or unauthenticated, read-only or read/write, and independently revocable.
You are responsible for:
- Configuring MCP endpoints appropriately.
- Keeping endpoint URLs and tokens confidential.
- Using authentication for sensitive or private projects.
- Rotating tokens when needed.
- Revoking endpoints that should no longer be active.
- Reviewing changes made by agents or tools.
If you create an unauthenticated endpoint, possession of the endpoint URL may be sufficient to access it. If you create an unauthenticated read/write endpoint, anyone with the URL may be able to modify the project documentation.
We are not responsible for third-party coding agents, AI tools, IDEs, model providers, plugins, or other services you connect to Windy.
5. Your content
“Your Content” means documents, files, folders, diagrams, plans, tasks, execution logs, prompts, text, code snippets, metadata, and other materials submitted to, stored in, generated through, or transmitted using Windy.
As between you and LEKHAPP LLC, you retain ownership of Your Content. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, transmit, display, reproduce, modify, and otherwise use Your Content as necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve Windy, comply with law, and enforce these Terms.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights necessary to submit Your Content to Windy and to authorize us to process it.
6. Responsibility for content and outputs
Windy helps organize design intent and plans for software projects, including projects that may be used by AI coding agents. AI-generated or agent-written content may be incomplete, inaccurate, insecure, infringing, or unsuitable for your use case.
You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, validating, and approving any content, plans, code, recommendations, or outputs created with or through Windy or by connected agents. You should not rely on Windy or connected agents as the sole basis for production changes, security decisions, compliance decisions, or other high-impact decisions.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use Windy to:
- Violate law or third-party rights.
- Upload or transmit malware, exploit code intended for unauthorized access, or harmful payloads.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to Windy, other users' accounts, projects, endpoints, systems, or data.
- Interfere with or disrupt Windy.
- Abuse, overload, probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Windy without authorization.
- Circumvent plan limits, seat limits, billing restrictions, authentication, permissions, or access controls.
- Share MCP endpoint URLs or tokens in a way that exposes private project content without authorization.
- Use Windy to create or facilitate spam, phishing, fraud, harassment, abuse, or illegal activity.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy Windy except as permitted by law.
- Use Windy in a way that could harm LEKHAPP LLC, Windy, our users, or third parties.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
8. Plans, billing, and subscriptions
Windy may offer Free, Individual, Team, and Enterprise plans. The Windy documentation describes monthly billing in USD for self-serve paid plans, with Stripe handling checkout, customer portal, and subscription state. The Free plan has limits, Individual unlocks additional capabilities, Team supports seat-based collaboration, and Enterprise is sales-led with custom terms.
Unless otherwise stated:
- Paid plans are billed through Stripe.
- Subscription fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis.
- Team plans may be billed per seat.
- Viewers may be treated differently from billable admin or contributor seats, depending on the plan.
- You authorize us and Stripe to charge applicable fees, taxes, and other amounts.
- You are responsible for keeping billing information current.
Windy does not directly collect card details; Stripe's hosted checkout and customer portal handle payment collection and payment-method management.
9. Plan limits and over-limit behavior
Windy may enforce limits based on your plan, including limits on live documents, live plans, version history, collaboration roles, viewers, seats, MCP usage, or other capabilities. The Windy billing specification includes free-plan limits and feature gates, plus seat enforcement for Team plans.
If your subscription expires, is canceled, becomes unpaid, or your organization exceeds applicable limits, Windy may downgrade your effective plan, restrict access, prevent new writes, block member additions, disable MCP endpoints, or otherwise limit functionality until the issue is resolved.
10. Cancellation and downgrades
You may cancel or change a paid subscription through the billing flows made available in Windy or through Stripe's customer portal. A cancellation may take effect at the end of the then-current billing period unless otherwise stated.
Downgrades may cause loss of access to paid features or place your organization over plan limits. You are responsible for exporting or reducing content before downgrading if needed.
Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable.
11. Enterprise terms
Enterprise plans may be governed by a separate written agreement, order form, data processing addendum, security terms, or service-level agreement. If there is a conflict between these Terms and a signed enterprise agreement, the signed agreement controls for that customer.
12. Service changes and availability
We may modify, suspend, discontinue, or limit Windy or any part of it at any time. We may add, remove, or change features, plans, limits, APIs, MCP behavior, integrations, or pricing.
We do not guarantee that Windy will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or available at all times.
13. Security
We use reasonable measures designed to protect Windy, but no system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for using strong authentication, protecting account credentials, protecting MCP endpoint URLs and tokens, limiting access to trusted users and agents, and promptly notifying us of suspected compromise.
14. Confidentiality
If you submit non-public project information to Windy, we will treat it in accordance with our Privacy Policy and these Terms. You are responsible for ensuring that your users, agents, contractors, and connected tools protect confidential information they access through Windy.
15. Intellectual property
LEKHAPP LLC owns Windy, including the software, design, user interface, website, documentation, branding, trademarks, logos, and other materials we provide, except for Your Content and third-party materials.
You may not use the Windy name, logo, branding, or trademarks without our prior written permission.
16. Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, ideas, or recommendations about Windy, you grant LEKHAPP LLC a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use them without restriction or compensation.
17. Third-party services
Windy may integrate with or rely on third-party services, including infrastructure providers, payment processors, authentication providers, analytics providers, email providers, AI tools, coding agents, IDEs, and model providers. Your use of third-party services may be governed by their own terms and policies.
We are not responsible for third-party services or their actions.
18. Disclaimers
Windy is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, LEKHAPP LLC disclaims all warranties, express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, security, and reliability.
We do not warrant that Windy, connected agents, generated content, documentation, plans, tasks, or outputs will be accurate, complete, secure, compliant, uninterrupted, or error-free.
19. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LEKHAPP LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, security incidents caused by your configuration, agent actions, or third-party services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LEKHAPP LLC's total liability for all claims relating to Windy or these Terms will not exceed the greater of:
- the amount you paid to LEKHAPP LLC for Windy in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim; or
- USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
20. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LEKHAPP LLC and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to:
- Your Content.
- Your use of Windy.
- Your connected agents, tools, integrations, or MCP endpoints.
- Your violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of law or third-party rights.
21. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Windy if we believe you violated these Terms, create risk for Windy or others, fail to pay fees, exceed limits, or use Windy in a harmful or unlawful way.
You may stop using Windy at any time. Certain provisions of these Terms will survive termination, including ownership, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and dispute provisions.
22. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
23. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by updating the “Last updated” date, posting a notice, sending email, or using another appropriate method. Continued use of Windy after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
